I have the procedure (from Hamburg WebRing enthusiasts) and I give it wider, as it details the steps!
Converting the NavPanel to Vertical Format!
If the Horizontal Fomat does not Work in 'Blogs (for instance.)
1. LOGIN!
2. CLICK "Go HERE to manage your web site URL, U#...."
3. FIND the WEB-SITE, and CLICK "edit settings"
4. CHECK "Check here if you would like to use the vertical version of the navbar" (GREEN shaded area!)
5. CLICK "[ CHANGE ] selected fields."
